For the love of Architecture

 

“Small Houses” Series

The inspiration for this series of small works comes from my love of Architecture.  I have always been attracted to the simple forms of the square box with pitched roof.  These pieces act as metaphor for our concept of home. Our home plays an important part in our existence.  The subtleties and complexities exist in the interior of the form making each house unique and comment on the desire to be individual.  These pieces are made from concrete, stone, glass, wood, paper, resin, wax and metal.
