FLAME CUT GLASS

Flame Cut glass is a term given to a glass cutting process that involves high heat, it is a technique I have developed that  produces beautiful fluid edges.  I have been using this technique in producing a variety of artworks including the "Gellies", candle holders,  large installations, water features, etc.

This technique is best when used on 19mm. plate glass,  briefly it is a way of 'thermal shocking" the glass and controlling the break.
